Heidelberg

I have not posted for a few weeks because I have been away, first in Heidelberg to attend the opening of the 5th European Quilt Triennial, where I have a quilt, and then to Ste Marie aux Mines to teach at the Carrefour du Patchwork.

Heidelberg is a beautiful city and we were very lucky with the weather - in fact it was very hot!  The views from the castle are magnificent - see the photo below.

...and here is a view of the Triennial exhibition opening at the TextilMuseum Max Berg.  Can you tell which one is my quilt?  No prizes!

  1. IT IS VERY EASY TO DISCOVER YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK!
I LOVE THE CITY MAPS THE BEST. NO WONDER, I AM AN ARCHITECT BY TRAINING. ;)

WE MOVED RECENTLY FROM CALIFRONIA [ NORTH OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE - MARIN COUNTY - LUCAS VALLEY, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AREA AROUND THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY ARE!] TO THE EAST COAST OF CANADA - NOVA SCOTIA - MAHONE BAY! IT IS SO MUCH COLDER HERE, WE LIVE IN THE SNOW AGAIN AFTER 8 YEARS OF NEVER BELOW 10C IN WINTER! THE FIRST YEAR WE CELEBRATED CHRISTMAS WITH A BBQ OUTSIDE, IN T-SHIRT AND BAREFOOTED! ;) WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

I WISH YOU A GREAT CREATIVE AND PEACEFUL TIME IN THE SNOW!
